Decision time

So, last night I realized that I really enjoy writing about my travels and sharing my adventures. Even if no one else reads them, I look back on the entries and enjoy reliving and remembering.

I am going to try again. I did start out well, in 2022, writing each night of my trip. It isn’t all laziness, though I’ve often felt too drained at the end of a busy day to write. The last two years have been difficult with Jake’s illness, which meant that I wasn’t at my optimum while I was traveling. However, he is doing so well now—I don’t have that as an excuse any more!

I’m also trying to catch up on my photos. I’ve never gotten this far behind. I did just finish Argentina/Antarctica (December 2024), but I haven’t finished Egypt (November 2023), Portugal (April 2024), or Nepal/Bhutan (September-October 2024).

I’ll start back on the blog this week, mostly by finishing and posting my entries from Antarctica last month. I did write some, but not being able to include photos threw me off.

And, if all goes well, next week I’ll post from Dubai, where I’m going for a week with my friend Paula.

Travels so far. I’ve visited the blue, and the red are places I’ll visit in the next few months.
